Code-E Season Two Confirmed

Okay, so I had to make an entry about this as soon as I spotted this news. I’m all giddy inside because it has been confirmed that Code-E will get their deserved second season (so we don’t have to suffer through that cliffhanger from hell). Sure, I never thought the series was spectacular, but it had this nice soft feel to it that was pretty rare. I certainly thought that at times the show went dangerously slow, if not painfully so. Regardless, I need to know what happened. I’m a sucker for cliffhangers, you give me one and I go nuts trying to divulge what will happen next (it’s probably why I’m still a fan of that terrible show, LOST, that killed off my favorite character).

Anyway, we were left with so many unanswered questions… and not only that, I didn’t get my kiss! I’m sorry, I expected Chinami and Kotaro to smooch at least once after they confessed (well, kinda confessed) their feelings. I was so disappointed that we went through their relationship struggle only to come out with Kotaro with a bashed head, and Chinami all fangirly about it. I’m happy though as long as I see Adol. I adored him far too much to be healthy, but I would be ecstatic to learn more about the fate of his sister and his family.

Until then, I’ll be watching for a confirmation date though I’m sure it’ll be another year or so. I’m assuming Summer or Fall of 2008 unless they really get their asses in gear. I’m almost amazed they were able to get a second season, but more luck to them. Whenever it releases, believe me, I’ll be blogging it.

  1. Whaa~ no LOST spoilers. Season 2 just started airing here :P . But good to hear about Code-E. That show was good and the end … was no end, looking forward to more. Thanks for the info. :D

  2. “Divulge” means to admit or confess something. I think you mean “discover” or at a pinch “divine”.

    Damn Code-E. Promising idea, wrecked by glacial pacing and a cast of stereotypes. Agree on the gentle vibe it had, though, that was nice, and it’s quite rare. Getting that from Sketchbook now, though.

  3. Ah, thanks for commenting, I meant divulge as in the way you ‘disclose or reveal’ something. …I go nuts trying to disclose/discover/figure out what will happen next. Heh, I could’ve probably picked a better word there. ^^;; Hopefully though, season two will have a bit more action and not so much relationship building. xP

  4. i wouldn’t say it’s the cliff hanger from hell(I’ve seen worse in berserk)but i know what you mean I’ve seen way too many cliffhangers and believe i’m on the verge of going insane from trying to uncover hidden secrets(witch is seemingly impossible T_T)

    i’m also very exited that there i a second season coming even if it is half a year away T_T ;_; 0_0
