Pangya Season 4 Out-And-About

I guess I should post something to show I’m okay, and still here all in one piece. I left a note in the sidebar which basically says my mom got ran over by a car. Yeah, that did indeed happen and she’ll probably be in the hospital another week after her surgery. She was working late at the casino she bartends at, and a girl now in custody ran her over in the parking lot and didn’t stop. So, she was sent to the hospital, but from everything that happened they say she’ll be okay. I’ve gone over quite a few times to keep her company, so that’s the reason for my absence. I apologize since I’ve already been quite behind on posts as it is. Though, I’ve never considered myself having to have a schedule. I like to blog when I want to blog, isn’t that the point? If you read it, thanks a lot, but I’m not going to tend to your needs when I obviously have my own life that the world is wrecking.

Now, what I really wanted to talk about is this god-forsaken game that keeps sucking me back in. Pangya (or Albatross 18 for those in the US) has some big news for the Korean servers. Hints of Season 4 were leaked about a month or so ago, but it was just a rumor. However, the new teaser site (seems you’re redirected from the teaser site to the Korean homepage automatically; so to reach the teaser site, click the pink haired girl on the right) was released recently that proves otherwise. Sweatdrop’s Blog covered it much more so then I could ever since he can either read/translate Korean or knows someone who can. All I can say really is that while I’m excited, us on the US servers will probably have to wait a good year before getting a taste of anything like this. I mean, we’re still waiting on Season 3’s Ice Spa levels along with a few nifty outfits and items (I’m still looking for an Arin Halo for anyone interested in selling it, e-mail me or message Selinya in game).

A new character was introduced, a pink haired pop star from the looks of it who vaguely reminded me of a Meer Campbell (Gundam Seed Destiny). Either way, her character design is rather cute and I think I might actually break my habit of using only Arin for her. I can’t say the new course shown excites me very much in all honesty. The wardrobe, as in the Pirate attire, looks rather nifty though. I’ll be earnest though in the fact my big highlight was simply seeing Arin’s dance at 1:38 of the teaser. I hope that’s a new animation for an eagle, or albatross, or anything. Also, for once in my life the Pangya music didn’t bore me. I’ve never had a good experience with their melodies, mostly because I’m tempted to fall asleep every time I hear it.

It’s sad that the US is so behind because this news swiftly turns lackluster for a year or so wait. Unless Korea does an IP lock for the new Season, I should be able to show you exclusive pictures of the new course and new items that first appear (along with a new interface if they make one). I don’t understand a lick of Korean, I can barely say a few Japanese words, so I highly doubt you’ll get the best information from me. If anything, we’ll wait and see the translation eventually. As long as they get on to release their Valentines Event, the CrossWings, and the Angel Wings I’ll be content for the time being.

Here’s hoping OGPlanet can last till this huge update, though I will give them props because I believe them to be severely understaffed in more ways then one.
