Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune Review

There are few chances I get to sit down and play video games now a days as much as I love them. However, being away from home and away from my dearly loved computer, I got the prime chance to enjoy the game Uncharted. It took me only two days to beat this diamond in the rough, but indeed it was worth every second. Before we begin let me say this game isn’t revolutionary, isn’t very new at all—in all actuality, it is rumpled with clichés found in Western movies such as the Indiana Jones franchise. It’s one of those games that could do just as well as a movie solely because its appeal is meant to be as such. Continue reading Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune Review…

PlayStation 3 Ad “Universe of Entertainment”

Sony came out with a new ad to help get the word out that the PlayStation 3 will be going down to $399 in the US. Depending on the gamer the importance of this may vary, but I earnest believe that those with a PlayStation 2 do not want to hook it up every time they feel the need to play their old games. In all honesty, I say search for those 60 GB models now while they’re still out there. Not only are they the most efficient version to come out (in my personal opinion), they are the whole package that everyone was looking forward to but shuttered in disgust when they saw the price. Heavenly Sword Review

Heavenly Sword is an absolutely magnificent work of graphical art and shows a keen potential to what the PlayStation 3 can really do. However, the fact is that it doesn’t show you a lot since the game lacks length but not the necessary depth that most games lack so terribly. In all honesty the display is simply glorious despite the fact that this PlayStation 3 wonder will only take a normal gamer around five to eight hours. This is probably one of the only newer generation games out that can be dealt with in a single sitting; regardless, the creators obviously foresaw this and attempted to add a few goodies when the storyline has been run through completely.
