Q: Where am I and what’s going on?
A: You’re at my anime blog Only The Bitch Knows which is run by me, myself, and I. An anime blog consist of various opinions concerning… you guessed it! Anime. Though I also dabble in video games, a bit of personal life when the time calls for it, news, rarely manga, and sometimes plugs for MyAnimeList (hey, kinda like that!).

Q: Who are you?
A: I am Jackie Lee Payne/Florian (better known on the internet as Kanashimi), I am also a sixteen year old with too much time on her hands. No, I’m not an FBI agent… yet. Welcome to the internet.

Q: Wait, this isn’t like other blogs! Why not? Where’s your summary!?
A: Who said I was required to have one? Ha-ah! Stumped you there. Actually, much of OTBK is solely my opinions for a keen reason. In a way I wanted this to be a different sort of blog, definitely not to avoid spoilers (cause what’s a blog without spoilers?) but instead to look at various aspects of a show then what happened in it. Anyone can give a rough plot on what went on, and occasionally you’ll see myself do as such because I didn’t know what else to write; regardless, I would prefer gazing at patterns, symbolism, and generally the things that can actually start a discussion.

Q: Why don’t you try writing like this, or can we have entries more like this, or do you think that would be better?
A: Actually, maybe I haven’t. By all means, if you want to see more of a certain aspect of my writing, or if you really like something you’re going to have to tell me to get me to do it more. Whether by e-mail or commenting on the entry, it’s you, the readers who help make this site successful. While it is always true I will keep to my opinions, that is something I will never change, I will try to make things more enjoyable for you—but you need to comment!

Q: Why don’t you write a blog review as soon as the episode airs?
A: First off, I’m not SuperWoman as much as I would like to try on her costume. Secondly, I do not speak or read Japanese fluently. So, like many of you I need to wait for a fansub group to decide to sub whatever show. Not only that but I’m also picky, and will wait extensive periods of time for the subbing group I want to come out with the episode. I never go with who’s faster, I much prefer quality. Another thing, I will always take h264 over XviD because of personal preference. So, the only reason I’m late is because the fan group I’m watching is late. Expect a blog entry at least one day after an episode has been released if not sooner (unless otherwise noted due to my own leave of absence)—expect an entry when I get around to it. :)

Q: What if I don’t like the way you blog?
A: Then don’t read it. Well… you’re free to still read it, but bitching about it is a no-no. I’m the only bitch here. ^_~

Q: Why are you already asking for donations? You don’t even have a fanbase.
A: Crap! I’ve been found out. Actually, I know that this is a fresh and new site. I also know that while I am attempting to get traffic by different means (and you’re free to drop me a line to help me out with this), I have to pay bills just like any other twenty year old despite the fact I’m not twenty. I help pay for rent along with utilities in my household even though I live with my mom. It cost roughly eighty dollars a year to keep my domain and all of its glory, so I suppose any little bit to help me with it would be better than not giving the option to donate at all. Do I expect you to donate? Hell no! Do I appreciate it? Of course, I would be eternally grateful for years to come. Just to let you know though, OTBK is not in need of donations to keep it alive, it’s more for convenience than anything else. It does need donations for advertising expenses though… or at least links to help pass the site around.

Expect anywhere from five minutes to three days to receive a reply. I’m rarely off my computer unless otherwise stated somewhere on the blog (like vacation, family business, etc). Please remember though, I live in America, and I do sleep. So if you’re across the country and you’re not getting a reply. Wait… patience is key. :)
