Ah, trouble is arising in Clannad world. This was actually the first time I was bored watching an episode. I’m not sure if this was more so due to the fact I have a head cold right now, or merely because the cuteness I once saw in Kotomi kind of faded away due to the fact she was such a center point in the show. Maybe a bit of charm vanished due to the fact that mysterious girl seemed to as well. That, and introductions are never truly very fun in all actuality. I was debating for awhile whether this show was worth my time to blog. However, since no one else wants to blog these types of genres I figured why not despite all the cliché moments in the story. It is very linear and for some odd reason could not get out of that habitual form that most yaoi ( <— warning for those reading the summary) falls under. I’m not sure why many of them are very simple in the whole two men meet, have an affair, and that’s about the extent of their commitment. Gundam 00 Episode 04

Once again the Celestial Beings slip into that bad guy role as if its natural. I’m starting to see a slight pattern, not sure if it will continue through the whole show or just until the Gundam pilots change the world for the better. It makes me go back and think of the conflicting debate found in the series Death Note, solely because while there was many things wrong with killing people it was for a greater good. I think Gundam 00 is similar in their approach with the whole eradicate war ideal. Sure, it is indeed revolutionary, but is it right? I could go and debate such a thing for hours on end, and I’m sure many of you could as well. Though it’s really the way a person perceives something. Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune Review

There are few chances I get to sit down and play video games now a days as much as I love them. However, being away from home and away from my dearly loved computer, I got the prime chance to enjoy the game Uncharted. It took me only two days to beat this diamond in the rough, but indeed it was worth every second. Before we begin let me say this game isn’t revolutionary, isn’t very new at all—in all actuality, it is rumpled with clichés found in Western movies such as the Indiana Jones franchise. Clannad Episode 09

I was kind of taken aback when I found I wasn’t generally affected by Fuko’s departure in a gloomy way. I didn’t really become teary-eyed or cried like I predicted. Maybe it’s because I took such a long break from Clannad, or maybe it’s because she received such a heartwarming ending to her arc. While she remained hyper and childlike till the end, she seemed to capture everyone’s eye in the process merely due to her persona’s charm. I will miss Fuko, I’m sure of it, but at the same time I feel that I’m glad to move on to another character. In all honesty I sincerely missed the growth from others instead of Fuko, but it really appealed to me to see such a nice and refined dramatization of her finally leaving. Here’s Hoping ‘08 Is A Bit Better

Happy New Year to all of you and I’m sure most of you had it yesterday considering the wackiness of time zones, but I myself had it only thirty minutes ago. It was okay, actually rather normal since my mom tends to work every New Years because she is a bartender, and it is the busiest day for the Strip here in Las Vegas. I really have never cared too much for that, but I did have plans to be with either my Onee-chan or my boyfriend and both of them crumpled. Looks a bit dreary, eh? Gundam 00 Episode 03

It’s actually really nice to get back into Gundam since this episode was exactly what I was asking of from the other two. I finally got an idea of the characters we’re dealing with instead of a blurred line of hardass. It really is interesting to see the pilots’ little personality quirks shine through now and again. While it might seem rather pitiful to look forward to considering there’s a ton of slash and hack battles awaiting, I’m much more keen onto why these people are fighting and what for. That of course involves the character themselves and their mannerisms instead of their warfare struggles. In contrast to episode one and two I was fairly impressed by this one because it seemed more so human if the term is acceptable in such an action oriented series. Being one of the few people who doesn’t like to say Happy Holidays a lot considering you might not celebrate Christmas, maybe it’s because I think you should start.
